No matter what kind of business you run, you’re always going to have some level of negative feedback. The haters are gonna hate, because that’s what they do. Most businesses have one way or another of dealing with negative reviews. Maybe they reach out privately to try and address the complaint. Maybe they try to bury the negative comment with positive ones. Maybe they ignore them entirely.
We know it’s a popular belief that used car dealerships try to rip off their customers by stocking their lots full of broken-down cars with a fresh coat of wax- so they look good when you drive them off the lot, but they break down soon after. Then you’re stuck with the debt AND the mechanic’s bill. In many cases this is probably true. But if you take a quick look at our website, blogs or almost every communication we send out, you will see the one word that guarantees we are in a different category from these dealerships- “WARRANTY.”
Let’s explain why.
Every car we sell comes with a 12-month/ 15,000-mile limited warranty. What does that mean for you? That means that if your car breaks down within 12 months or 15,000 miles (whatever comes first), we’re there to help. Anyone who’s dealt with a mechanic lately knows that this isn’t cheap. By providing our customers with a warranty, we want the car to stay healthy just as much as you do. Why? Because fixing them is crazy expensive, and we lose money when we sell cars that break down. And if we only sold junkers that break down, we’d be broke and out of business pretty quick.
We know sometimes cars have mechanical problems. But so does every other dealership. Try visiting a new car dealership, just pick one and go, and let us know if they don’t have a service department. Spoiler alert: they all do- and they still have new cars in for service. This is because cars are parts of metal bolted and welded together with a computer inside, and sometimes even brand-new cars break down.
Besides our warranty, another thing that sets us apart is that you make your payments right here in Cincinnati. Many dealerships will connect you with a nameless, faceless third-party finance company that speaks in broken English. Here at Cincinnati Auto Credit you’ll deal with great people at a local finance company every month throughout the life of your loan. If our plan was to sell you a junker and then disappear in the night, then that’s a pretty terrible plan.
We’re always open to feedback, and we don’t delete our negative Google reviews. Just remember to take them with a grain of salt. And if you find yourself experiencing troubles with your credit while on a search for your next vehicle, we’re here to help you. We invite you to visit one of our lots and give us a chance to give you a chance.
